Only received 1 star as zero is not an option. I received a voicemail from “Addy”. This message was for my son (whom is an disabled adult of which I am his legal guardian). Once I returned her call And told her who I was she said needed my court papers before she could discuss anything with me. I told her that is private information and that all his doctors and hospitals already has that documentation. She hung up on me after I asked her how many phone calls does she get on a daily basis like our situation. Her snarky comment was “A LOT”. I did cuss her out and hung up on her. Today, I received a second voicemail. When I called her back I again told her my name and my sons name. I also told her her is disabled. She went on to say something and I cut her off only for her to scold me about c

I never received the notice I requested, to make the payment and they weren't willing to accept my 20.00 payments my unemployment is only 130.00 weekly with my rent being 800.00 I missed 1 payment leaving only a 77.00 balance and they placed it on my credit. No compassion, just collecting even the neologist apologized on their behalf. I tried to explain to the staff the bill isn't my fault it's the insurance companies who is dragging. I hope they are never faced with owing anything in this pandemic. Up until 3 months ago I made every payment of 290 monthly with the doctors office and now this! I'll pay at my own convenience now since they have no patience

Received a call this morning from here & I was instantly suspicious. I didn’t know what to do, so I asked the lady caller to give tell me my information to confirm that it wasn’t a scam. It was for an unpaid $89 debt for my son’s pediatrics appointment. I’m always good at paying on time and within the date range so I found it odd I was getting a collections call — ESPECIALLY when I never received a letter or anything letting me know. I felt she wanted to appear/sound nice, but I felt a sense of rushing and irritation when I was asking her questions- Soleto to protect myself. Then I google “First Collect” and see these negative reviews. I still wonder if this is a legitimate company or they’re just rude.

Recieved a call from someone who works there and left a voice mail claiming they are from the FBI and her name is Diana Smith. So that's what we are allowed to do now. Is lie about where you work and your title. Well thank you I have kept the voice mail. So if you was trying to collect a debt from me please take me to court so I can play the voice mail of you giving false information on who you are!!

I, personally have had nothing but pleasant conversations each and every month with Ms. Diane in the Lewes, De. location. "I" didn't pay my HUGE hospital bill fast enough, it went into collections, she contacted me and we made an agreement. I have stuck to that agreement and paid every month ON TIME. Every month they send a report to my credit report and I'm proud to say that I'm so pleased that this experience with First Collect has helped me get my credit back. I'm proud that my debt is almost clear but, sad that I won't be talking with her anymore. Honestly, I may just call her every month just to hear her voice and keep in touch. Pay your debts people :)
