🚩🚩🚩Unprofessional and Unreliable🚩🚩🚩 I had a very disappointing experience with John Harris and his law firm, Estate Planning for Louisiana, and I would not recommend him to anyone seeking reliable or responsive legal help. I retained Mr. John Harris in August 2022 for a legal matter involving a succession/probate case. John agreed to handle my case for a flat retainer fee of $8,500. Initially, John was responsive; however, that all changed once the check cleared. After I paid the retainer fee and provided all the requested documents, John Harris suddenly became hard to reach and stopped responding to my calls and emails. I had to call from a different number just to get him on the phone, and each time he would provide a different excuse for why he hadn’t been returning my calls or emails.

Do yourself a favor. Do not use this man. After he collects the $3,500 retainer he will tell you he is working on your case. Days,weeks,months go by and when you call him he states the same thing. I am working on it, gathering all the proper information to take it in front of a judge. Mr Harris should have his license revoked for theft of money and services not rendered. Lesson learned he got what he wanted up front and then vanishes.

John has made a complicated time feel very easy! He help us through the hard questions and helped us make the choices for our future!
