I have been working with Jessica Ellis for close to two years, and I can honestly say that having her as my attorney has been a huge blessing. Ms. Ellis returned our call first thing the next morning, however even before calling us, she had already reached out to the respective parties and had an answer for us before she even called us back! I contacted Ellis Law Firm about six weeks ago to handle a custody issue with two children that needed immediate action. No one returned my call after the first week so I called them again. The secretary assured me that I would get a return call. I waited another week and I went to her office and told them I would wait for her to get off of the phone and I would appreciate if she could squeeze me in for a 15 minute appointment to see if she would be able to represent the case. I waited for 20 minutes and the secretary told me she would not be able to see me, but she would be in contact with me. It’s been six weeks and I have not heard one word from that office. I would not recommend Ellis Law Firm located on Church Street in Honesdale. Don’t waste your time just go to another attorney who

I used the office for a few transactions over the last several years. All of those transactions were uneventful and well executed. Recently the purchaser of one of those transactions needed help with a title issue with a local bank. I called the office and Lisa D was very helpful in responding quickly and confirmed my thoughts with evidence that could be provided to the bank. It all took place in the space of an afternoon.
