I paid her an $8,000, plus an additional $500, retainer and after continuing my case for over 2 YEARS she sends me an email telling me that she's quitting because I didn't pay an additional fee to goto trial. I haven't heard anything from her in almost 9 months. No phone calls, no texts, no emails, and no written letters of any kind saying that I have to pay her more money. It is her job to keep me updated and I had to constantly hound her for information regarding my case and court dates. I thought I paid for a lion but what I got was a declawed kitten. If I could go back I would find a much less expensive lawyer that would have handled this whole thing right and been finished MUCH more quickly. I would recommend that you don't waste your time.

Update because she had the nerve to ask for me to remove my review because its hurting her business. (Reviewed for a family member that hired her) so here's the update: Will take your money and not respond for weeks on end. Will tell you one thing and do another, won't even show up for court, instead she'll call in by phone while on vacation and then abandon you. The woman only cares about your money, nothing else. She will tell you to take the plea deal or to go on the run. She will not keep you informed of future proceedings, deadlines, or anything other than the absolute minimum. She will go MONTHS before responding. If you go to her office in person she will lie and blame everyone else just to get you to leave.

She takes your money and leaves you hanging. No call back no money back. Just silence.

The Queen of debate and switch. Bate you in to get your money and does the total opposite of what she says. Potentially work for the commonwealth/ government and not the client.
