I am thankful for the Prosecutors at The Douglas county District Attorney office. The support they’ve shown my daughter and I from start to finish has been nothing short of amazing. I applaud each and everyone of you for your dedication and tremendous work ethic. Thank you gracefully for your hard work and dedication to this community. Any one who’s had a hand in my daughter case, thank you kindly.

0 out of 10. Patrice Dortch offers horrible pleas, she doesn’t respond to emails or phone calls. She also doesn’t care about the recommendation(s) from probation officers. Any plea offer(s) she gives are jail/prison time which is absurd. So if you have her good luck! I wouldn’t recommend her at all for any case or anything at all for that matter. Horrible. I see why all the reviews are bad.

District attorney is slightly rude i was fasley attached as a witness to a random case when I’ve never visited douglasville and i called to kind of fiqure out what the heck is going on and everytime i say something she questions it in a smart way! I am both extremely angry and stressed!

When you think of the "victim advocate" you believe that this title indicates someone, who is fighting on behalf of the victim. Someone supportive, empathetic and positive. My experience with the victim advocates in Douglas County has been completely the opposite. I have only been met with abrasiveness. The empathy is non-existent. I was a victim of domestic violence and the individual is still contacting me. I have done everything within my power to make it stop and been met with roadblocks. The people that are supposed to help me deal with the situation are always rude and no sympathy is ever shown. I wish that being an "advocate" really means your helping others bc at this point, I feel like there is no help for me out there.

Not helpful. They have you swear out s warrant (over $50.)Knowing full well they will do nothing. Then they treat you like you are a criminal because they don't want to handle the case. Don't uphold the laws on the books.
