I've been told by several people that no attorney in Texas will actually stand up to the county, they'll just have lunch with the judge and attorney to agree over the sentencing. Craig Fletcher, the public “defender” that they provided never saw my mother in person once, never talked to her on the phone, never replied to a letter. I tried to call him numerous times, each time the secretary told me he was out of the office or on vacation and he'd call me back, but he never did. The last time I attempted to call, I told the secretary that he should speak to my mother, because there is a class-action lawsuit open in regards to moving inmates deemed incompetent to mental treatment facilities in a timely manner and one of the attorneys involved replied to let her know she was involved in it. The father of my 2-year-old son decided he would take it upon himself to keep my son from returning back home after a visit to attend a wedding. I tried multiple times to make contact for two months to get him back or even to hear his voice or do a video call. After being turned away, I finally received a call from Craig Fletcher informing me he would assist me in getting my son back. He and his team worked diligently to make this happen. This past Monday, Trevor and Shannon not only stayed at the office after hours to continue assisting in their efforts, but by Tuesday afternoon my son was returned home and back into his mother's arms and I cannot thank Craig, Shannon, and Trevor enough. I will always recommend this law office and this excellent team.

They play phone games, give you as little information as possible, this is supposed to be my brothers lawyer and he hasn’t came and checked in the case or anything, until the day before his sentencing. it seems Mr. Lewis is working with the DA office to lock people up and keep money in the county vs actually trying to be a public servant regardless of what he is getting paid. Craig, and Trevor have been EXTREMELY HELPFUL with my case! They have successfully reunited me with my children and were with me every step of the way. In the past I have had troubles with several other lawyers dropping my case before court, stalling on their end, and not keeping communication with me about particulars on the case.
