I'm glad I decided to use Cook Law Firm. From the very start they have worked with me taking care of court dates where I wasn't going every month just to be seen and rescheduled like a public defender would have you do. They worked with me on an affordable price and payments. Gretchen is very professional and on top of things like calling, reminding me of court dates and appointments. Everyone is very friendly. Shelia treats you like family. She understands your dilemma and not once did I feel judged or looked down on. She doesn't just try to do anything, she does it. When she tells you this is what we are going to ask for, you can count on that being what you will get. The same with Dave. We used him as a family lawyer, he is a rip off. He’s a drunk, and really we didn’t know if he was working on our side or against us. He was very disrespectful and works at his on pace. I would definitely not recommend any of my friends, family, or anyone that reads the reviews to use him. Be careful warning everyone in advance. He’s just about as good as the shake machine at McDonald’s.

After paying him to represent me in my divorce he took my money then ask for more money and had no legal grounds in court then he dropped me and told me to hire another attorney to divorce me. He is very unprofessional and I DO RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. I submitted my divorce back in 2020 and it is now 2022 and I am still married with no divorce. I should have read the reviews before hiring him. I agree and I am confirming the negative reviews on David Cook is accurate!

David Cook is like a used car salesman with a law degree, he seems to try harder to get a conviction for the prosecutor than he does to help his clients. I ended up having to fire him, I ended up working out a much better deal with the prosecutor on my own, than what he said was possible. I would not recommend this law firm at all, you can probably do better on your own than to hire this kaw firm, you'd be better off giving your money to a trash can, at least, then, you know your money went to garbage. The one star I gave them is very undeserved, but there is no option for for stars on the negative side of zero

I call several lawyers (Friday morning) in the area starting at 8 am, knowing I was in complete panic and need of support on an emergency child case. Dave was the first to call me at 8:30 am and came in to work on Saturday and Sunday to help me prepare for an emergency case for Monday morning. I have been counseled before, but Dave would answer my call all weekend and weeknights until this case was closed. Since then I have returned for things that pop-up, and he has continued this amazing service to me, I can't imagine not having him help in the future.
