Charged for services not requested by me. My initial consultation was good. I left with the understanding that my next step was to schedule a follow up to prepare Healthcare proxy documents. Then I receive a bill (with no pay-by date) for services that were performed after my initial consult-These "services" were not requested by me or communicated with me- I had no idea i was going to be charged for any follow up work. The services I was charged for included writing a summary letter of my first meeting, researching benefits that my parent already receives (why?), and "providing recommendations" for next steps- the same next steps we had already discussed in my first meeting. None of this was NEW, needed, requested by me, or communicated with me. I was shocked I received a bill for this.
