I paid off a debt, or thought I paid it off till my bank garnished over $1100 two days ago when my debt was cleared in 2025. According to representatives, nobody can tell me why my acct went into default & was informed today Brock & Scott gave me wrong information on due dates and amounts. Always had money in my acct and my acct never changed. Bank is telling me to contact B&S for refund, B&S is telling me to contact bank. No clear communication other than to check back next week because B&S filed an escalation complaint. Never got anything from both sides about defaulted payments. I never told them to stop payment, but B&S stopped it for some unknown reason. Nobody can tell me why and now over $1100 was drafted two days ago. I have never delt with a more incompetent company in my life! We have been trying to get a "pay off" quote to close on a mortgage. After multiple phone calls, both from myself and closing attorney, this company can't or won't provide pay off. Their "process " takes a week and starts over every time they screw up! They send pay off quotes a day late with no perdiem. And get this..they blame it on the weather! Not only is this company incompetent but representatives are unprofessional and talk to "clients" like they're rented mules. No individual would ever choose this firm so they contract through mortgage companies and other businesses as a debt collector. But.. when we try to pay the debt you get the runaround! If there were a negative star they would receive it

This “firm” purchased a debt that I had due to a scam. Zero attempts made to work together in a sensible manner. Zero professionality. Zero compassion. Zero morals. They’re a group of power hungry, greedy, and self centered individuals at best. Debt was paid off to them in full, yet here we are a month later and I am still being garnished. At what point does this become theft? Someone needs to take them on and knock them down off the high horse they parade around on. Extremely difficult to contact. Very very unprofessional. There aren’t enough thumbs down in the universe to rate them properly.

They never respond to emails, inquiries on their website, or answer the phone. They have hold times of over 30 minutes, which honestly who has the time for that?? Every time I am actually able to get ahold of someone I'm told something completely different regarding the status of my account.

I paid off a debt that was owed over a month ago. I am still getting garnished $1200 a month and was informed by the firm that it could take up to 45 days to file a letter of garnishment termination to the courts. I have bent over backwards to try and get this debt settled as quickly as possible. I am close to eviction on my house and I'm having trouble being able to afford gas to get to and from work. The firm is NOT efficient at processing and I am the one paying for it. I might be out on the street soon and It's too bad that they can't be held accountable for their sluggish performance.
