My brother recently sold 7.45 acres he inherited from our mother, and the buyer we were working with used attorney Richard Blankenship for the closing. Our experience with his office was challenging and involved multiple delays. The original offer was made on October 23, with a scheduled closing date of November 12, 2025. This was a cash sale, so we expected the process to be straightforward. Instead, we ended up having two or three extensions because documentation from the buyer’s attorney’s side wasn’t completed on time. Very unprofessional title company. I have now missed 2 closings due to the lack of professionalism. I will never use this company and will be filing a report with BBB as well. Blankenship is a failure.
