I recently purchased a mobile home. Cash. A simple transaction, I’ve done it before. My seller wanted an attorney and hired Blackwell. I went to her home where we called to communicate to him how the deed needed to be written. He refused to speak to me. A closing was set. The closing was another waste of time. Blackwell said I needed to go to Town Hall to file the paperwork. I was provided an incorrect conveyance and 2 incorrect checks for the State of Connecticut. When I tried to contact hm via his own website, his email wasn’t even correct. He did subsequently offer a quit claim…..like I would have taken another chance with this incompetent firm. The only thing he got right apparently was his fee.

I am extremely thankful to Attorney David Blackwell for his expertise and compassion through what turned out to be a tricky real estate transaction. He guided my first-time buyer as if she were his own daughter, and he fought hard for her. I can't explain enough how much that means to me, as I fight hard for my clients - they deserve the best! 10/10 will be using Attorney Blackwell again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
