Bangor District Court

I paid court fees, filing fees, ect for small claims court scheduled in December, although I got a letter in November stating it was rescheduled to January instead. When I arrived to court In January, my case was never called. I was told I hadn’t showed to the original date in December so the other party won by default…. They had no reschedule date for January on record nor the letter I received. I showed them the letter and they confirmed it was sent by them but I would still have to pay again and refile my claim. I was so upset, I never refiled my claim.

Well lets see ill give it 3 stars iv mostly.had good luck i got in trouble for things i did do bit also things i didnt do they need to seperate from.brewer brewer pd is evil and sick i was driving home on my bike from.work doing the speed limit and they stopped me started yelling at me said i was speeding it was freezing out i was so cold heading home so.there are beyond lying anyways they ticked me suspended my license for 3 year havent drove in a very long time

Sitting on a case for 3 years and refuse to bring it to trail whivh should have been done in 90 days. Tried to make me sign an order to avoid trial instead of giving me a fair trail which is my legal right. Very poorly run... Poorly represented public..... Court dates are put out for 6-8 mo which only creates more problems and no solutions. Courts refuse to take accountability for mistakes or actually adress any problems but expects the public to be held accountable for problems.... When cases are finally heard they are just put into more continuance and issues are not addressed or solved. The courts keep sweeping things under the rug and adding to the pile which they refuse to adress or take responsibility for their mistakes... To the legal system failing the communities in which you

The lady at the clerks desk with the short gray hair doesn’t know what she’s doing. Every time I hand her papers that need to be filed with the court, she sends me on a wild goose chase. Today I handed her an affidavit and she didn’t even give me the motion for alternative service papers. The sheriff’s office, who is much more helpful, had to call me a couple hours later and let me know she did it wrong- again. This exact thing happened last time with the same person. I don’t even know what these people are trained on.

Something seriously need to be done about the people working at the window for divorce papers. I've had 2 different women treat me horribly whenever I tried to turn in my paperwork. They would ridicule me and act like they know everything when they absolutely don't, anyone who's filed before know for a fact that the way the papers are done are confusing and they barely tell you anything other than follow the directions, and wonder why things don't get done correctly. One of them actually got aggressive with me today when there was a line behind me (slamming a page against the window so hard it shook because I argued that I didn't know I needed to get something, saying "it's right here!") You guys really need new people with just an OUNCE of empathy working that window
