Ashley Ownby

My husband and I knew we needed to have a will but kept putting it off. We finally decided to stop procrastinating and went to see Ashley Ownby to get them done. He did a great job of putting our wishes into our wills. While we were there he also suggested we have living wills and healthcare powers of attorney. We had not even thought about those things! He helped us get those together as well. We were very glad we found an attorney who could help us get our wills and other legal needs in order. We were also appreciative that he and the office staff were very friendly, making us feel comfortable and at ease.

I use Ashley on a dispute with Duke Energy, and I will have to say I got the better end of the deal. I have been very satisfied with all the work he has done for me and my company. Mr. Ownby is calm, level-headed, and has a great demeanor. I find this quality very important because i tend to be overly reactive in stressful situations. I would highly recommend his firm for any and all of your legal disagreements.

Following the passing of my mother, we had some land that had been in the family for 4 generations that had to be divivded among 9 various children, grandchildren and a sibling. Unfortunately, the land had never been transferred officially from my grandparents to my mother and her siblings all of which but one had also passed. It was a complicated mess involving multiple statements, forms, powers-of-attorney and much more. Ashley Ownby helped us navigate and get it resolved in a clean and concise manner. We are most grateful for his help and guidance in getting our inheritance squared away.
