Ms. Mills is a terrible GAL. She is just for the money,and not want is best for the child. Would not recommend her, or the office she work with.

During the investigation, Julia's team failed on multiple occasions to keep or schedule interviews with all of my advocates. Of the few character witnesses they did reach out to, only 2 successfully spoke to her and they had to constantly check in with her assistant Megan to ensure those appointments would happen. I had multiple professionals who reached out to her team several times to schedule who were ultimately ignored. Many of my witnesses responded quickly to her interview requests and never heard back. Unfortunately, I had a different attorney for my divorce, but met Julia just after for continued family law and financial issues, and she took care of things for me. She is highly responsive and engaged no matter how many other things she might have going on, but most importantly, she shows that she cares about her clients’ personal situations. Well, I did use Julia to represent my two daughters (I have the invoices and court documentation to prove it), and she was completely unhelpful and I almost feel like she sided with my ex-husband. It was never easy or simple to set up an appointment for her to meet with my daughters, even via zoom meetings. There was abuse of my youngest by her father (my ex-husband) and nothing was done about that. Everything seemed to just drag on forever since Julia didn't want seem to really move things along. I honestly felt like it was a matter of how much money could be earned by Julia. If she is suggested to you to use for your children, DO NOT!!! I promise you will only regret it. Negative 10 was not available. I would not suggest this law firm. I thought it would be good since it was locally owned by women, and on a smaller scale size. I assumed they would be more involved with their client. When I spoke to Josh Simpson he said all the right things and promised to fight for me if I hired him. However, that is not what happened. I had to do all the leg work. He never kept me in the loop, he took weeks on returning my calls and everything was time sensitive. This involved the death of my father 6 states away so it was very frustrating to get everything moving in the right direction without his help. It went on for almost 7 months like that. My husband pulled the owner into the situation and she even said that the case should have only taken 2 to 3 months maximum,
