Rebecca Ables was very quick to help me out! As a fellow title company employee, it was refreshing to speak with someone willing to help me with a settlement close to her office.
I had a settlement with A&K settlements (Ables) on a property I was selling, and let me tell you—BEWARE. I questioned a ridiculous utility bill because the amount was outrageous. And guess what? That insane number was COMPLETELY JUST A ROUGH NUMBER. Just pulled out of thin air! Totally UNACCEPTABLE. I got charged $4,200 when the actual bill was only $350. Seriously? That’s not just a mistake—that’s shady. So take my advice: think twice before doing any business with A&K settlements (Ables).
I left a message with their secretary, asking for someone to call me back. She didn't seem to know what the company does and couldn't answer the simplest of questions with any level of certainty. To top it off, it's been over a week and I have not received a single call from their so-called professionals. Zero recommendation.
A&K Settlements, Attorney Ables and her support staff are amazing to work with. Knowledgeable, timely, personable and caring. Doesn’t get any better than that.
