Laid out the map from start to finish with all potential avenues we might face so there should be no unexplained curve balls. Answered all our additional questions; we went in with alot of reservations about our situation, but we feel more confident of what's next. I hired Taylor Call from wolf river lawyers and I have had nothing but problems with communication, Taylor doesn’t listen, he is constantly looking at his phone, he doesn’t fight for his clients, he can’t even reply to an email. After 3/4 of my divorce is complete (only because I did all the work) I received an email only after 3 phone calls and having to have the office person go into his office and tell him to respond to me, and the email was to inform me he is leaving the firm and will no longer be my lawyer effective 2 days after I received the email. The kicker is I was with Taylor the morning before and he couldn’t even say anything in person. But it’s not all his fault. The billing department is absolutely horrible. I have used this firm for roughly 7 years off and on. I have not only referred them but used them personally for a myriad of different reasons. The first time around, I had Joy and she was very responsive and good at her job. I can say with confidence that Joy is one of the best lawyers I know. Years later, I used Matt to draft real estate paperwork for the purchase of a home. Again another perfectly detailed and quick experience. The next time, I was anticipating on hiring Mary C. At that time we met one time, and she wrote lots of notes and we made a plan. Would not recommend. Hired a lawyer from this firm to represent my son in a divorce. Retainer was $3,000. His original lawyer got sick and had to retire and they gave him another lawyer. When the first lawyer left he had $1,000 left to the retainer within a couple of months the other lawyer was saying that he owed him $4,000 and basically did nothing for him. The lawyer they gave us walked into court like he didn't know what he was doing we would give him information that he would not use and when you talk to him he looks around at the ceiling and looks around doesn't pay attention when you're talking to him. My son asked him to get a hold of the GAL because he wanted to talk to the GAL, he said he would weeks went by and we did not hear anything from the GAL so my son called him himself a

Wolf River Lawyers was appointed for a GAL on my divorce case. Mary Calder was the lawyer appointed. She put my kid's life in danger multiple times and I have police reports for proof. I was court ordered full custody of my children at the end of the case in May of 2022. I was also ordered to pay my half of the GAL fee's, however I called the office and spoke with 1 of the lawyers in charge at the time and said that if I get a invoice I'll be reporting the law office to the bar association due to the malpractice I had to deal with. I have not heard anything from them since. Now 3 years later, just the other day I received an invoice for their services, and now Mary Calder is retired. I'll now be hiring a lawyer for malpractice, & reporting them to the Bar Association.
