I would NOT recommend Wiegand Attorneys & Counseling to handle your serious personal/business matters. They are incompetent and their customer service is awful. I called one day to get an explanation as to what was going on with my late grandmother’s estate case and spoke with Charlotte (the office assistant), and was rudely handled while just asking for clarification with Robert Wiegand a.k.a. Sunny. When Charlotte thought she put me on hold she blatantly said “this woman is getting on my last nerve” and then proceeded to pick up the phone like I was on hold and tell me that “Mr. wiegand would return my call”. Have been a client of Wiegand Attorneys in Colorado since 2014 and have always received excellent counsel in Probate & trust administration, LLC creation/maintenance, updating property titles, and reviewing business contracts/personal loans.

My case did not turn out the way that I’d hoped. Sonny was able to reduce the total tax amount owed, however, I still owe an amount that I’ll never be able to personally pay back. Some of the timelines were beyond his control; however, it was a painful process to have dragged out only to conclude that we still owed a very large sum of money. I’m still left having to determine what to do with the money owed, figuring out a payment plan with the IRS, etc., none of these steps are easy for laypeople to navigate through. He did help, but it wasn’t a silver bullet solution to eliminate personal liability for business expenses. Our family has been doing lots of estate planning lately and the help we got from Kimberly and Charlotte (office manager) was everything we hoped for. They were happy to walk us through the things we weren't sure about and worked with our schedules to arrange meetings as easily as possible.
