Jim is a thoughtful and respectful attorney. He is well educated and guides his clients with grace. He always has his clients best interest at heart. He also holds his clients to the law as he does his opposing counsel. He is fair and just.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Jim Worley has consistently demonstrated unprofessional and obstructive behavior throughout my divorce proceedings. He has repeatedly refused to sign agreed-upon orders, including temporary custody and financial arrangements that were approved by the judge. His actions caused unnecessary delays and additional legal expenses for both parties. On multiple occasions, he either failed to respond to court-mandated discovery or stalled the process without valid justification—delaying justice and resolution. Worse still, he appeared to weaponize procedural technicalities, not in service of his client, but seemingly to create chaos. His lack of professionalism undermines the legal process and reflects poorly on the integrity of family law in Bell Count

Without a doubt Jim Whorley is a great lawyer. Very smart, strategic but will shoot ya straight with the good, bad and the ugly about your case. Tbh I was surprised how my divorce ended. Way better and less scary than expected and I know it was because of him. Absolutely recommend this lawyer!

Mr Whorley has represented me several times over the last 3 years. Each time he has been levelheaded and quick thinking. He has a brilliant mind and can think outside the box. In addition, I can see that he is well loved by the staff at the courthouse and respected by other attorneys, which speaks volumes about his character and reputation. I highly recommend Mr Whorley.

I would not recommend him. He was unresponsive to legal issues and concerns and failed to meet many of the timelines and paperwork requests. Had to fire him and hire a new lawyer to complete divorce due to his inadequacy. ALSO - office staff was limited so overall cost me 3x more for his services because he charged his fee where at new law office I paid for paralegals and other staffing fees, had I knew about looking for an office with more staffing it would have saved me a ton of money by the time the legal issues were handled. I do not recommend him!
