White Mountain Legal Aid

Don't waste you time and efforts calling the White Mountain legal aid Service I'm a retired paralegal and I had a situation that was of great urgency. I called and left a message because they never answer phone calls however they did answer my message. They were of no assistance and I was being evicted because the owner wanted my unit that I was parked in with my RV and he did not give me the 30-day notice he also said he was raising my rent he did not give me a written notice telling me he was raising my rent 30 days in advance I told this to the lady and she says well we have to see if you qualify and I said it and make it $800 a month Social Security she says well I know your name from somewhere. Well what does it have to do with my situation right they never got back to me there there

Is this business even open? I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone by phone or using their website to express interest in their services.

Very professional and very helpful. I am not sure who makes the decision or who sets the amount of money you can make or not make to qualify for pro Bono but I think you need to be near homeless to qualify to receive pro Bono services. I am retired military and drawing my social security and didn't qualify. So I am not sure but be prepared to do it pro per because you probably won't qualify. Because we all know Lawyers are rediculously priced for most of the general public. If you are on a fixed income and barely make ends meet you don't get to have fair representation that's how judicial system works.

They are so helpful and can even do most interacting over the phone.... i love legal aid!
