Let me start by saying that the case was done in a matter of months. My issue is and was that I was only told that I would be taxed on the portion that the employer paid out. 2 years later I get a letter from the IRS stating I have to pay taxes on the portion that the lawyer received which was over 8k, mind you he never stated that I would have to pay taxes on the portion that he received. My second issue was and is that when I called the lawyer to question him about about it he had his assistant give me the run around and have her tell me that he can’t give me tax advise. I called numerous times and I asked to speak with the lawyer not his assistant but because he got paid now he wants nothing to do with me. I was not looking for tax advise. The real issue here is that he was not upfront
