Jody Mitchell is a great lawyer! I would want him as a lawyer for anything. I hired him about 15 years ago for a divorce/child support/alimony/equitable distribution and custody case. It got ugly. He worked hard and he did not disappoint me at all. He is by far the best lawyer anywhere around here in the Surry, Yadkin and Wilkes Counties, and beyond as far as I’m concerned! After everything was settled my ex-husband hired him for a traffic incident. We had a good laugh about that! Thank you Jody!

I called Jody Mitchell two weeks piror to my son being born and was givin my first consultation within a very timely manner. I met with Jody and felt very confident that he cared about about my case as if it was his own child we were going to court over as well as being very knowledgeable with child custody. I was always kept up to date on my case and at the ending of my case Jody exceeded my expectations by getting me as a father more time with my son than expected considering the mother has all rights and the father has none in the state of North Carolina. Jody has showed me that having a knowledgeable attorney who cares for his cilents and the child or children in a child custody case really makes a difference. Was trying to get a speeding ticket reduced for my son. Showed up at court and no attorney. 6 months later got a bill from magistrate saying court cost was past due. Was told ticket was handled. 6 months later got letter saying son was removed from insurance. Haven't heard from jody for 2 years, since I paid him. Should have had son put himself at the mercy of the court, very disappointed with outcome and lack of communication

I called Mr. Jody Mitchell over a week ago and he still hasn't returned my call. I left my info with his receptionist or legal aid and she said he'll call me back after 5 p.m. I haven't received that call yet and I've left a message asking him why he hasn't called me back? He I also left my info to call me back on his answering service for his office as well.

HAD DAVID 34YRS AGO MADE ME SAY I DID THINGS I DID NOT DO BUT THAT WAS THE 80'S BUT STILL A BAD THING I STILL LIVE WITH IT. I AM SURE THEY ARE MORE THAN ME. But I was a 15 year old kid and David had me to accept a felony at 15 for 99.9% of people that would make you a young man no chance of getting a great job or anything else I would have helped the young man before I just throw him away.
