He’s was great till I paid him to actually represent me! Then I could never reach him on the phone he kept wanting me to talk to his assistant a woman named spring. He was even late for my court hearing. I paid him a lot of money to do basically nothing in my opinion! He wouldn’t try in negotiate beyond what he he wanted to!! I do not recommend him at all!! He was barred from practicing law while my case was happening!!!

Vaughan Jones has been suspended by the Virginia State Bar. Look up details on VSB website - all public. You may also look up past actions, which there were a lot. This person was given many chances in the past but never learned anything. Jones is not built to be an attorney. Edit 02/20/2026. Jones has been suspended for another year, until 2027. I will be filing my complaint to VSB. Not only he's incompetent as an attorney - I just don't think he's a good person, in my opinion.

Wow!!! Attorney Vaughan Jones did it again for me and my son. My son had someone with a vendetta take out a charge against him. Vaughan was so helpful and consistent in this entire process I was extremely happy and grateful for his representation. In the Courtroom I was highly impressed with his trial skills and his closing remarks I was stunned. Within 3-5 minutes the judge agreed and dismissed the charges against my son. I'm not going to go into a whole lot of deal, due to the sensitive nature of my case, but I would like to say that more than anything, Mr. Vaughan was always reachable, he always had time in his day to answer my questions, and more than anything, he was patient and caring. I highly recommend Mr. Vaughan, and I think he is wonderful.
