I worked with Atty Greg. He appeared to be the nicest most patient person I have met. Gregory Van Cleave repeatedly, said he could help me a Service- connected 79 year old Veteran, who was in the process of losing her home in a Foreclosure. Attorney Gregory Van Cleave AUCTIONED my HOME! NOW I have no HOME, no EQUITY and don’t know where I’m going to live. An almost 80 year old 100% Service-connected Woman Veteran now has nowhere to live! He has two complaints at the State Bar one 10/17/2022 and another 10/17/2019. I will be the third one.. I mailed the State Bar asking what the complaints consisted of. The Texas State Bar said they might take a week or two to look up what they are. I will pursue this.

I was caught off guard with a loan I hadn't heard from in 14 yrs they were trying to foreclose on my property. Agnes Carroll helped me so much on what to do, what to ask for, and set me up with appointment after to have Robert Garcia look over everything to see if everything looked good. I dealt with Albert Van Cleave on a deed of property that was a gift to me from a family member. My 86 yr old relative found Albert and had him prepare the deed as I was looking to sell the property that I had been gifted and we needed the deed in my name. When the deed was prepared, the title company told it was not in good order and would need to be corrected. They reached out to Albert's office on Thursday, June 16 and asked for the correction. A few days later, on Tuesday, June 21, I called Albert's office myself as we had heard nothing from them. I talked with Nicole and she said she would look into it. I heard nothing back. Not happy at all. Mr. Van Cleave refuses to do wire transfers or use FedEx or any other trackable type of money transfer service because he says it costs money. We even paid for it but he still did not use FedEx or Wire Transfer for our payoff for the mortgage or other payments. He mailed by regular mail the cashiers check for the payoff and our real estate agent's cashiers check. Our mortgage company and real estate agent never got their cashiers checks and since Mr. Van Cleave mailed the cashier's checks by regular mail, there was no way to track either of them. Plus they were cashier's checks therefore there is no way to check the bank to see if they have cleared because they have already been paid for when they were purchased! We were recommended to him by some family members. We had a tricky situation as is with intestate and encumbered properties. At first Mr. Van Cleave showed a lot of initiative, was very diligent and eager. Later on however, after his receptionist lost our file and months of weekly calls and personal visits trying to touch base, I could not get him to resume the work we needed finished.
