I used Underwood & Associates for my first design patent and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. From start to finish Dave was a pleasure to work with. So much that I wish he did trademarks as well. I used a different firm for my trademark and they were fine, but weren't nearly as communicative, transparent, helpful or efficient as Dave from Underwood and Associates. From the beginning he clearly laid out the different phases, costs and was always quick in responding to any questions and/ or concerns I had along the way. If anyone I know is ever looking to patent a product of their own, I would hands down recommend Dave and Underwood and Associates. I plan on working with them on my next and any/ all future patents.

Underwood & Associates is by far the best patent firm I have worked with. Dr. Underwood is a great communicator and was quick to learn the nuances of my invention despite it both being one of the more complex mechanical examples in my field of work and from an entirely different field of study than his primary body of experience. He is very proficient at identifying all novel material in an idea and enhancing the invention beyond what I have come to expect from patent agents and attorneys. I have recently used Underwood & Associates to file a provisional patent and I must say that they really made the entire process a walk in the park. They made me feel comfortable the entire time and were able to answer any question with regards to this process. They were very clear about their cost estimations and provided breakdowns upfront. The best part was the cost. When compared to other firms, I can assure you that U&A will be hard to beat and am sure they will provide the same detail and effort as any other firm out there.
