We hired Trio Law to look over our purchase of a franchise. The documents included the FDD, PA, and liquor license. We had a great first meeting but after we sent them the retainer fee, support fell short of expectations and became mostly nonexistent. If I hire a service to work with, I have an expectation that they are going to deliver on promised services and timelines or at least communicate if timelines change or a follow up correspondence is needed. Throughout the process, they would make promises of delivery and would not hit the timelines they were giving us. After the initial delays from Trio, we simply asked for better communication if they were not able to meet the commitments. Keep in mind, these were timelines they gave to us!
