I paid a $300 retainer while still uncertain if I would move forward with a case. I was told that if I didnt, the retainer would be returned. When I called to request a refund, the secretary abruptly told me she couldn’t help me and hung up. I called back 2 more time, my demeanor was very reasonable. She hung up 2 more times before any conversation. On the 4th call I suggested nicely that all I needed was a bit of information and that it made much more sense to have a brief conversation rather than have to contact the BBB. She was then willing to tell me that she couldn’t help me more nicely before hanging up again. Be careful!!!
