Timothy Acker Attorney

I am writing to express my significant disappointment with the services provided by Timothy Acer regarding our estate planning. Our initial meeting was unproductive, with a substantial portion of the time dedicated to Mr. Acker’s discussions about his plane and charity, rather than our legal matters. Furthermore, I was surprised and displeased when he invited himself to the meeting with the CPA. In the meeting with Mr. Acker and the CPA, the two referred to my wife as a “cougar.” To also then be charged for a phone call solely aimed at persuading me to continue as a client is unacceptable and reflects a focus on billing over client needs. This experience has led us to question the value and professionalism of Mr. Acker’s services.

I am a CA atty. When our mother passed, my brother and I hired Mr. Acker to handle the WA probate. The estate was small, and the legal matters were straightforward and basic, i.e., providing notice to creditors, and drafting and recording Executor's Deeds re our mother's 1/2 community interest in two WA properties. Mr. Acker's drafts of the deeds were extremely unprofessional - grammatically poor and riddled with typos. I ended up redrafting both deeds to correct the mistakes. When time came to record the deeds, I didn't hear from him for many weeks. He finally responded by claiming the post office lost the deeds. I found Mr. Acker to be pompous, arrogant and primarily lazy. Payment for his "work" was $4,000, well over the $2500 he quoted for a basic probate. Be careful when you talk to

I was in an accident on my way to work one morning. I was hit from behind and my car was totaled. Mr. Acker was very kind in helping me through the insurance red tape while my case was open. I would send anyone I cared about to him. He truly works for the good of his clients.

One of the few attorneys that will work hard to get justice. Excellent legal work, goes above and beyond for his clients. I had a difficult case and Timothy was able to get the other side to, nearly, double their settlement offer.

Absolutely brilliant. Very competent and understanding in righting the wrongs done to hard working people. Patient with us that are not law knowledgeable. Made sure we felt like somebody cared. Will definitely recommend.
