My family has used Doug Lewis for 7+ years. He is incredibly detail oriented, highly intelligent in complicated real estate land use transactions, honest, a man of integrity, and an all around stellar human being. We highly recommend his firm.

Douglas Lewis is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever met. He will go to bat for the underdog and stand for what is right. He is also one of the smartest and most hardworking people I have ever met. Can’t recommend him enough.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Douglas Lewis. I felt completely un-prioritized, follow-up and follow-through seemed to be non-existent at times, I felt like I was treated like a bother whenever I would call the office, and since there was no follow-up, and I was constantly left with more questions than answers, I had no choice but to call... Ultimately it was a bad match and a pretty disastrous working relationship from start to finish. You really need to feel comfortable and have confidence in the attorney you hire or even consider hiring. Sadly, such was not the case here - if anything I just felt antagonized - something a client should never, ever feel.

This firm is negligent and does not provide sound legal assistance. Douglas Lewis is inept and his support staff is even worse. Having had exposure in a courtroom setting in the state of Florida for over 10 years, I have never witnessed anything such as this. Even the lowest paid public defenders and prosecutors have a better work ethic. What this firm does should be criminal, and how the Florida Bar has not intervened at this point is a tragedy. Being 950 miles away, we needed help and put our trust in the wrong firm.

I have had multiple interactions now with these attorneys. Mr. Lewis is one of the most trustworthy and genuine individuals that I have met and I would trust him with my most important legal work. I would strongly recommend him to a friend.
