I hired Leigh Thompson during my divorce with children case. I will not be using her again if I need to return to court in the future . It’s difficult to get a strait forward answer when asking her about steps in the divorce process. She was 8 minutes late to a court hearing and luckily the cases behind ours were running late . Average response time would sometimes be 2 weeks from her or Christa . Finally I didn’t receive a bill for 3 months and was told Leigh was behind on billing totally understandable. I finally got my accumulated bill 7 months later ( November which is a hard month to get hit with a massive bill when you have young kids ) . Overall you’ll have better luck and communication using someone else

Mr. Holtz really is there for his clients as parents, as he is a parent himself. Even when we may not fully understand what's going on with our legal proceedings, he does. If you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing in your case, he & his legal team will come to bat for you. Even if you suffered a panic attack about your case in the beginning, and in your state of fear, tried to go pro se to represent yourself in court with no prior legal experience, thinking that'd be a good idea (ITS NOT), he'd still be an understanding person & use his platform as a licensed attorney to help mention any important details to the judge that you may have left out, just out of his sheer compassion & recognition for your progress, even when he's no longer obligated to do so if you go pro se.
