Richard was absolutely amazing through my divorce. I had extreme anxiety and he helped ease it the whole time with being very on top of my case. The first day I hired him he dove right in and got documents filed with the court. Marissa is also amazing as the paralegal! Since it’s a small firm you definitely feel valued as a client. Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs Richard Dowse provided my husband with terrible legal advice from beginning to end. We ended up paying over $30,000 in lawyer fees only to lose on nearly every issue in court. Despite having only a year of experience in family law, I felt like I had more knowledge than Richard. Doug Anderson appeared to lack attention to detail throughout the case, often forgetting important tasks such as sending subpoenaed documents. A prime example of this was when I requested to withdraw representation, the firm submitted the withdrawal to the court with an outdated and non-existent address due to a typo. Doug's disorganized manner is evident if you go to trial. During the course of our divorce he mentioned three different times that evidence gathered would be critical to use at trial due to my spouse breaking the law and refusing to follow court orders.
