I had an “alleged” incident, and when police were involved talking arrests, I had no clue what to do. I knew a guy who was friends with Carlos, and reached out. Without any discussions of a retainer or using his service, Carlos showed up not only in the arresting PD station but at Cook County Bond court the next day. When I asked him if my gf could send him payment for 2 visits, he said “If you’d like to discuss my representation, we can talk Monday, but this is a courtesy because you know my friend. I was charged with an aggravated DUI in November of 2013 and I was afraid of the consequences I was to face in the near future. That was almost a year ago and if it wasn't for the due diligence Mr. Davalos completed, I would've just been getting out of jail as opposed to being out here with my family. The charge was lessened to a regular DUI which was a combination of my luck and Davalos's speedy and steadfast dedication to my case.
