Susan Grammer helped me with an Order of Protection case with only 2 weeks notice for the hearing and while we didn't get the result I wanted she made sure I still got something. She made sure I understood the situation with the judge and helped me to maintain realistic expectations. She is a very tough, witty and no-nonsense woman who does not waste your time or hers. While I can see why other reviewers might feel she has some rough edges, her refusal to tolerate bullshit was exactly what was needed in court against the defendant. She made a situation that was nearly impossible to tolerate much more bearable even making an effort to bring my spirits up in a time of stress and anxiety. She completely failed to represent me. She might as well have been working for my ex husband. My lawyer before her was very dedicated and did a phenomenal job. Please go elsewhere unless you want your money stolen for no reason.

I used her about 15 years ago and based on the recent reviews things haven’t changed. Do NOT use this woman for ANYTHING. She solves absolutely nothing and just finds ways to draw out cases rathe than end them. She drew my divorce out 18 months then I finally fired her - In front of a judge that Susan didn’t even show up to the hearing for. I was trying to get a divorce and a move away and what she couldn’t accomplish in 18 months I accomplished in ONE hearing (AND won on my own). Don’t waste your money on her unless you like just throwing it in the trash cause that’s all you’re going to get from her.

1 Star is too generous. Run, run, run away as fast as you can. Made an absolute disaster of my Father’s Estate. Talks over everything you say especially if it’s a complaint. Offered to come to his house due to him being severely sick, to sign for a notary signature. Failed to tell us it was a $300 charge. The library is free. My Sister called 3 times to ask questions. Our estate was charged $150 per phone call unknowing to her. When I called to complain about extra charges the secretary Mary said ‘why do you care? you’re not paying for it’. Can you imagine hearing that after your Father saved his whole life for that money and died. Yes, the whole family paid for it. I have no idea how she has been able to stay in business this long. If I could give no stars, I would. We hired her as a family lawyer to get rights with my bonus son. We were doing it for 2 years alone before we hired her. The only thing she got us was extra summer time visits. No decision making, no nothing. She has double charged us for court dates, had us served due to her suing us while I was in labor with my 2nd daughter. She falls asleep on the phone, doesnt reply to emails or phone calls when its regarding her own mess ups. She blatantly lied to us about filing documents then sent us a bill for them anyway. This firm is a complete joke. She charged us $15,000. We have already paid $6k, and somehow our bill today was for $15,330. Please please run fast. Do not hire this firm, specifically susan.
