During our consultation, Mr. Auffant advised me to get my son a full psychiatric evaluation in order to get his SSI reinstated. He said that after the evaluation, to give him a call and we could start working on his case. He referred me to someone he works directly with. After roughly a $2,000 (out of pocket) psych eval, I had the paperwork sent to Mr. Auffant, and tried calling to schedule something. None of my calls were answered, and my voicemails were all ignored. Now I have to search for another attorney to take our case.

Mr. Auffant was a man of his word and did not charge me an evaluation fee. He gave excellent input on how to appeal my termination of benefits with Social Security. He helped me with the verbiage I should use, to be most effective for the appeal. Due to the advice I received from Mr. Auffant, Social Security has agreed to reinstate my benefits for six months until they redetermine my case. Definitely a worthwhile visit to this attorney.

We spoke on the phone once and he requested my paperwork I explained I could have them over asap and asked if there’s was any way that he could get back to me any sooner than he stated. His reply was arrogant and not understanding. Either way I agreed to wait for his call back which I never received. After calling the office to follow up I was informed that he was refusing to help for no apparent reason.. I guess me trying to be assertive and ask for help was in a way offensive to him.
