My experience with Attorney Stephanie Kogut has been extremely negative. I want to warn anyone considering this firm to read everything carefully and be cautious. Improper Service: I was never properly served with divorce papers. Instead, I received only an emailed PDF with a March 25, 2025 filing date from her. The signature page had been photocopied so many times it was nearly blacked out, and my husband’s signature was barely visible. This was not valid service under Pennsylvania law, yet I was led to believe I had an active divorce case. Failure to Inform Me of My Rights: I later discovered on my own that Pennsylvania law allows up to three marital counseling sessions before divorce. Ms. Kogut never explained this to me or advised me of my legal rights. Most of her emails were vague

My wife and I have dealt with quite a few family law attorneys over the last few years. By far Attorney Kogut was the best we have had by a mile. Her fees were a flat rate which really helped us out a lot. She was extremely consistent with communication even on weekends and after hours she would respond to my emails. I never had to worry what was going on or what was next. She took her time to explain everything and really help my wife when it came time for the hearing. Overall best experience I’ve had with an attorney. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone dealing with TPR or adoption or really anything family law oriented. At the end of the day I am extremely grateful for her help and I’m glad I trusted my gut and went with her to handle my case.

Good lawyers tell me she could have won my case on the corpus delect rule, alone, and should have moved for a mistrial when the assistant prosecutor revealed a impermissible conflict of interest. You get what you pay for. She was appointed by the court that paid her legal bill. Worst lawyer EVER. But she is still getting those appointments, so there you have it.

Alisa Livaditis is very corrupt. If the court appoints her to your case, know that you are going to lose and prepare yourself for observing things never before seen in a court case. She doesn't care about you as a client. This firm has a record for "longest serving" in York County for a reason. They don't advocate for a "client" if it will upset the judge and their main source of income. How they get bad reviews scrubbed, I don't know.

Worst place ever. Didnt work with me was in favor of the mom 100%. No wonder dads dont go for there kids. They get put under strict guidelines that they cant bond with there kids or get a chance to.
