My dog ran away and I got a ticket. Mark Gordon told me it was a criminal matter, that I could end up in jail and it could have various negative implications. He charged me his fee for a criminal case, which is double his fee for non-criminal matters (and was quite rude to boot). My best friend happens to be a supervising Brooklyn DA. He verified that Mr. Gordon completely misrepresented the law. I did not confront Mr. Gordon, just sent him a copy of the law my friend texted me - that made him change his tune instantly and offer to refund me my money, which he did promptly.
