In 2024, I spent $14k on a divorce that never went past one mediation session. I kept getting passed from lawyer to lawyer in the firm, each time spending my money to re-tell my story to another lawyer. My initial lawyer lied about not getting responses from my ex, which created more friction during my time working with this law firm. They also sent me to a mediator who was wildly unprofessional and my lawyer did not advocate for me at all.
