I called in to pay a medical debt that was showing on my credit report. I talked to SUPERVISOR Carla Fisher. I have never been so degraded and made to feel bad about myself. She continually talked over me even after I pointed out that us talking at the same time wasn’t going to work. She then asked me why I don’t pay my bills and even went as far as to ask why I didn’t pay a $20 copay without knowing anything about my financial situation. This is a medical debt from Akron Children’s hospital from my high risk pregnancy, delivery, and taking my son to various doctors and specialists during his first year. I didn’t rack up unnecessary debt and then not pay and the point of my call was to pay on said debt. I asked her to resend me an itemized bill, she kept trying to get me to login into a po

These people just harass you. I am sorry I can’t afford to make payments that are hundreds of dollars. But I make sure I pay them every 4 weeks. I am the only one working since my husband has had health issues. They don’t seem to care that I have other bills and that includes a lot of other hospital bills. The hospital they are trying to collect for don’t even offer middle class people any type of discount if they don’t have insurance. You literally can only make 19000 to qualify. If that were the case I would qualify for Medicaid.

They sent me a notice saying I had a bill. I called to get more info on it and to ask if they will send me an itemized bill. After talking to 3 people, one supervisor and 2 employees, I was hung up on 2 times and told that if I took better care of my things, I would have the original they sent me in 2021. The supervisor agreed with what they both said and hung up on me too.

I have needed to make arrangements multiple times with this company for my child's medical bill's. How your treated depends greatly on who has your case. If you get an agent named Mr. Weaver it's best to ask for someone else right away. He is the most condescending, patronizing, nasty man ever. I understand they have a job in collections but that doesn't mean they need to go about it that way. I have worked with many other medical collections agencies that have such better methods for collecting that doesn't involve berating people for receiving medical care. It's not like we went and bought a boat we couldn't afford...we got treatment for our child. And we were making great effort to pay the bill!

i have 5 children. all which had medical bills. i am very grateful that we do have insurance, have doctors and my kids are alive. i first called team recovery and spoke with a very nice person. i payed off two of my small medical bills for my children. she broke down all bills, for how much and what child there were for. i was told to call back when i can make payment arrangements. i had a very high bill so i went over fiances to see what was reasonable. i called back, a gentleman answers. he tells me the wrong amount. he puts on a supervisor. wow, just wow. horrible, rude, nasty, lazy and good for nothing. im willing to pay my bill. i just need help it being broken in payments. they lie! they dont tell you the full portion, so they can add the rest to your credit report! liars, thieves,
