My wife and I have dealt with a tax refund challenge for 2 years. As it turns out a vendor of ours failed to file documentation with the IRS as was required and the IRS could not match my documentation of a deduction without the corresponding documentation from the vendor and therefor our refund was not sent to us. Following a series of texts and emails with the IRS I contacted the Tax Workout Group and they were able to identify the vendor error and to get the IRS to send the refund from 2024 to which we were entitled. Without their help and guidance, we would not have been able to process the appropriate documentation and to close the return. Great work by a very professional organization.
