Days away from the closing on my house, approximately $140,000 worth of liens (from tax debt) were discovered in my ex husband’s name. I had no idea his liens would prevent me from selling my house and would stop the closing in its tracks. I feared that I would never be able to sell and if I did then I would lose all of the equity to pay off his debts. My real estate agent connected me with Ed and within just a month or so he detached the liens from my property.
