I have worked with Susan Pesner for over 30 years. She has conducted the settlements for most of my clients who return to her for their future real estate transactions. She was very concerned about making sure it would happen on time, and she managed to get it done--on time, which as anyone dealing with an unwieldy bureaucracy knows, is no small feat. Our builder passed away leaving us with an unfinished home and several unpaid contractors. Susan did a wonderful job of keeping us calm and helping us navigate through the process of resolving all of the liens and closing on our permanent financing. She is a steady hand and her integrity is above question.

We had previously engaged Ms. Pesner's assistance in concluding an out-of-state house purchase and our experience was satisfactory. We then engaged her firm to assist with the private sale of a property to a family member. While the end result of the property sale was finally completed, I found the process frustrating due to the notable lack of responsiveness on the part of her firm to questions we had. Moreover, as part of the sale process, we engaged Ms. Pesner to complete related paperwork regarding the gift of property equity to our family member. She accepted a down payment for this work, but never completed it.
