I feel absolutely terrible for the people of Dare County as there is a major shortage of family attorneys. Ms. Harman displayed no interest in advocating for my rights / best interest nor do I believe she was knowledgeable enough to do so. If you have to hire in Dare County for custodial services try Ms. Simmons and if you have a complex case and she is not available PLEASE I encourage you seek professional assistance off the island. I’m so thankful I understand the legal system and questioned Ms.Harman’s narrative. I knew I was going to fire her but I wanted to see if she could even make a valid explanation for her actions which were highly questionable.
