Straussner & Sherman

This is a long overdue review. I feel like I've been in such a deep fog for the past 5 years. When my husband passed away, I was scared, alone, and to be honest, desperate. I'm ashamed at my first phone call to Mr. Straussner because I was in tears and was probably hard to understand. But he listened, was reassuring, and understanding. He said he would be there for me and my son (8 at the time). With his help and the help of Mike Treger and Ben Helquist - absolute angels sent by God - we have made it out of the fog. We are doing very well now because of their expertise, guidance, and representation. Also, I need to mention Morrissa Hudson who is the best assistant ever!! They were hands down the most arrogant, ball dropping, unavailable law firm. Ben Helquist in particular was horrible, nearly costing my husband hundreds of thousands in lost dollars had we not caught his mis-steps and changed firms. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

I had a fantastic experience with Josh Roberts representing me in my workers comp case. Josh was really compassionate and funny, and he got me a settlement I’m happy with. I can’t imagine having a better experience or outcome with another attorney.

The staff and it's physical building is warm and inviting. They're a block away from the Van Nuys courts. There's parking on the street (I prefer because of the angled spots...quick in and out), on their side lot and back lot. The historical building is gorgeous and it feels like a spa when you get in there. Excellent attorneys and firm. I love knowing that they defend our firefighters and making sure that they are being cared for. God bless them.

Great attorney, she really took the time to listen to me and showed she really cared about my injury and case. This is a great firm!
