This guy handled a real estate closing for me years ago and made a major mistake—he left the previous owner’s 10-year-old grandchild on my title work. When I went to him to fix it, he demanded $2,500 upfront. I let my closing attorney handle it instead, but he still insisted on being paid upfront and refused to let them deduct the cost from my closing funds. He acted like the mistake wasn’t his fault at all. I ended up taking him to court, and he told the judge a completely fabricated story.
