About 8 years ago during my divorce, I was unfortunately advised (too late) by the wife of at least one other attorney in town who told me to "stay away from Steve if you can. He will destroy your case, suck your well dry, and then keep digging for money". Unfortunately, it was too late for me in my case and I was deep in expenses to have reversed my decision. Sadly, like an atomic clock, her advice came out to be true with unresounding accuracy. Moreover, on 2 separate occasions, he failed to even read my emails and attachments, resulting in him being surprised about facts I was bringing up minutes before a trial on one occasion. I was Mr. Wilkinson's client in a divorce and multi-chapter custody fight 20 years ago.
