Ms. Speights assured me that she would prepare my documents. She then joked about the inexperience of her new associate, saying he had just been admitted to the bar. When the time came to sign my documents, I discovered that her new associate had prepared the documents. Plus, Ms. Speights was on vacation during the preparation and signing of the documents. I had to point out numerous errors and return for a second appointment to sign the documents. Then, I received a bill for the full amount that Ms. Speights charges for her work. Her business acumen is appalling-law firms nearly always charge a lower rate for work done by someone with no experience.
