This review is specifically for the Spartanburg, SC location of SC Legal Services. My mother applied over a month ago and was approved for services. But since then, she’s been bounced around, routed to the wrong type of attorney, and still hasn’t received any support for the legal issue she was approved to get help with. After that misrouting, she was told a different attorney—who has an office in Greenville but also works with the Spartanburg office—would be in touch. It’s now been nearly four weeks, and not even an introductory call has been made. We were recently told this attorney is “on vacation,” but no one else has stepped in. That’s not acceptable. Great customer service to assist that my unc paperwork was all turned in to get the ball rolling to help him with legal services.

Over a period of 6 years, when I was at my lowest and needed help with an estate issue, harrassment issue, or criminal issue. Each time within years apart, the person who answered the phone would listen to my problem, and each time would say. We don't have an attorney for that. WTF!
