Coming from a family of lawyers, I am well aware of how legal assistants should handle situations like this and how clients and consumers should be treated. Unfortunately, my experience with this firm was the opposite. I contacted the office only to request copies of my original notice of debt and written dispute instructions, which had been sent to my grandmother but never to me directly. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. §1692g, a debt collector must send the consumer a written notice of the debt within five days of initial communication. I had not received this notice myself, which is why I called. Instead of addressing my request, the assistant argued with me for 15 minutes, gave personal opinions, and misrepresented the law. Soule was my divorce attorney. He made it so simple and a breeze to go through. He stayed in constant contact with me and listened to what I had to say. Definitely would recommend!

The receptionist, Emily, is very polite, friendly, and over all made going there a million times better. No one ever likes going to an attorneys office but she has been very helpful on the phone, in person, and through emails. I would recommend this place just for the interactions with her. She has treated me like an actual human with feelings and for that I am very grateful. The attorneys are good too.

Mr. Chad Giles was fantastic working with. I am not from the Kansas area. I was brought down there from Michigan by the Winfield Kansas Shir Department on two different occasions and I finally got Mr. Giles as my quarter-point attorney and he got everything taken care of the first time we went to court together, I highly recommend Mr. Giles if you are facing a criminal charge.

Horrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend this law firm for anything. Thumbs down.
