Snohomish County prosecutors effectively put my daughter and I in danger due to a clerical error on their end. All I received was an “oh well!” email as they swept us under the rug and moved on with their lives. I hate the Washington Legal System.

The Snohomish County court system doesn’t protect survivors, it retraumatizes them. There’s no real advocacy. No trauma-informed care. Just cold procedures that punish people for reacting like humans. Survivors are forced to relive their pain while the system looks the other way. Justice shouldn’t break people. But here, it does.

These people are the biggest hindrance to justice in Snohomosh County. They don't understand probable cause or all of the laws in the RCW. They will refuse to prosecute property crimes outright and won't prosecute if they aren't familiar with that law. They also refuse to prosecute a crime if the warrant was not reviewed by their office prior to going to a judge. Numerous felony cases are declined because they failed to charge them within the statute of limitations (3 years). They look for every opportunity to drop a case and care nothing for the safety of the residents of Snohomish County. They are an embarrassment to the justice system.

Last June, my roommate (at the time) nearly set my alarm on fire. She had 4 children in her care at the time, her two and my two. I was under the impression that she was fine with the children, which she told me and a neighbor. Two hours after I got to work that morning, I got a call from the Everett Fire Department. This woman (I'll respectively leave out her name) had attempted to cook all four children Top Ramen for breakfast and passed out drunk. ALL four children tried waking her up. It took my two older girls unlocking and opening windows and screaming for a neighbor to help. My oldest daughter let in one of our neighbors and it took an ambulance and SNIFFING SALT to wake her up. I had to leave work after 2 hours to get my children. I lost my job that day, I wasn't allowed to walk in

These are genuinely evil people. What they have done to my life is what they want to do to anyone that’s beliefs go against the party. These people have completely destroyed the life I loved and placed me on a path of isolation and poverty. They do not honor the constitution, they do not honor the bill of rights, they will do anything they want if they can get away with it.
