Chris Godios was an exceptional attorney who handled my case. From initial call until hearing, he was exceptional in communicating when needed. If I had a question, he almost always replied within 10 hours, usually sooner. The hearing officer was very much aware of pertinent medical history, because Chris laid out all evidence such that ALJ could easily follow, and the hearing was only 15 minutes. Chris also explained legal principles I needed to know. I highly recommend him.

I called them to inquire about some social security questions. The woman who answered the phone has no cultural competence skills at all. I tried explaining myself. She had already called me and sent me an email. Thus, she had some knowledge about my inquiry. However, when I let her know that I was returning a phone call and an email, she acted like she couldn’t understand what I was saying. My first language is not English but I can communicate well in English, however, I have an accent. Well this person was rude and disrespectful. You need some serious training on cultural competence to better serve populations whose first language is not English.
