They provided useful information, making me more confident in my case. I recommend writing an email to them, even if you are sure about your case, having a professional opinion on the law is necessary in showing confidence in court.

The small claims advisory services has replied within two days with a long page of suggestions, which would definitely help. As for the negative feedbacks, I think the people who are in charge of the response might have changed, or some other matter happened. Shouldn’t be too strict on people who providing help non-profitable, sometimes there’re not perfect, but even the people you paid can be scammers, so I’ll be grateful even with slightest help from strangers. I would express my appreciation to the small claims. I hope you all are doing well, and can make the society even better in the future.

Responded after 30 days and told me my small claims case fell outside the scope of their abilities. In my opinion, seems like an operation established to let privileged students at Harvard appear to be doing community service, thus bolstering their resumes. Wouldn't waste time contacting this organization or expecting any meaningful help.

Took 3 weeks to get an initial response and then they told me that they couldn’t even provide basic information regarding the process for an appealed jury trial that is part of the small claims process. Not sure what they really do, but I guess it looks good on the resume when applying to law school. I wouldn’t waste your time with this organization and not sure why anyone would want to donate to them. Oh, and they never even asked about the case at all. Just told me to consult a lawyer.
